6:00 – 8:00 pm

In conjunction with the release of the Maryland 2006-2007: A Guide to the Issues, the Maryland Public Policy Institute will host a series of free receptions around the state for members, policymakers and the media to discuss our findings.

Marylanders are seeking solutions to the problems of failing public schools, spiraling health costs, transportation, and crime. At this free Town Hall meeting, the Maryland Public Policy Institute and the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce will bring together policy experts, candidates for office, business leaders and Maryland’s citizens to discuss their best approaches to solving these problems.

The first reception will be co-hosted by the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce and will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2006. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend. We will be sending formal invitations in the mail.  Please visit www.mdpolicy.org for the most up-to-date information on these events.
